High-performance pneumatic fenders are widely used for ship-to-ship transfer, double banking, and ship-to-dock berths. They are preferably used in ports where the tides vary greatly. Jerryborg's high-performance pneumatic fenders can be easily deflated, enabling simple and cost-effective relocation, providing protection in dock and ship-to-ship mooring scenarios. We offer products in various sizes, and they can also be fitted with tires or chain nets to provide additional protection.

High-performance pneumatic fender is marine equipment used to prevent ships, ships, and other naval vessels from colliding with each other or crashing into docks, wharves, and piers. In other words, high-performance pneumatic fenders can be simply called marine bumpers.

High-performance Pneumatic Fender Structure

High-performance pneumatic fender is composed of three vulcanized layers, each of which provides an important function in the structure and service life of the fender. The three layers are (1) the inner rubber layer, (2)the reinforced cord layer (3) the outer rubber layer.


The outer rubber layer uses special compounds that provide additional tensile strength and tear strength to protect the fender from severe weather conditions and frequent use, while the inner rubber layer is specially designed to seal the internal air and prevent any leakage, just like the inner tube of a tire. The reinforced layer is a composite tire cord with cross shadow lines, which is designed to distribute stress evenly.
